of Events
1.On
May 1st1, 1948, under the authority of the Northeast Bureau of the
Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Society Department
and the Northeast Field Military Intelligence Agency jointly established
a training contingent of public security technology, meanwhile,
opening training courses for telegraph operators, with the aim of
fostering professional personnel of public security technique to
greet the liberation of the Northeast.
2.On January 14th, 1949, the Northeast Administrative
Committee issued a general order to set up the Northeast China School
of Public Security Cadres, with the minister of the Northeast Public
Security Ministry, Jinxiang Wang, as the concurrent headmaster of
the school.
3.On August 28th, 1954, the Central Committee
decided to put the Northeast China School of Public Security Cadres
under the leadership of the Central Public Security Ministry, and
changed the name of the school into the Central People¨s Police
Cadres School of China, with Chuangchen Wu as the headmaster.
4.In November 1954, the Public Security Ministry
Successively merged part of the professional cadres of the Mid-South
Public Security Bureau, the Luda Fire-fighting Professional Training
Class of Public Security Ministry, the First Department of the School
of Railway Public Security Cadres, the Chongqing Chemical Examination
Training Class of Public Security Ministry, the Shanghai Criminal
Technology Scientific Research Institution the Central People¨s
Cadres School of China.
5.From the January of 1956, the Central People¨s
Police Cadres School of China developed, one after another, ten
professional training programs of public security in fire-fighting,
traces examination, criminal investigation, questioned document
examination, criminal photography, chemical examination ,forensic
medicine and public canine training, etc, becoming a forerunner
of criminal technology major education in public security educational
Institutions of our country.
6.On April 24 th, 1956, the Central People¨s
Police Cadres School of China changed its name into Fist People¨s
Police Cadres School of Public Security Ministry, and on May16 th
of the next year, the school moved to 83,Tawan Street of Huanggu
District (the present location) ,in the way of real estate exchange
with the Shenyang Air Defense Command.
7.Because of the Culture Revolution in 1966,
the First People¨s Police Cadres School was forced to be abolished,
and was resumed on October 4th , 1972 ,with the name changed into
People¨s Police Cadres School of Public Security Ministry.
8.On November 25th of 1981, approved by the
State Council, the People¨s Police Cadres School of Public Security
Ministry was reconstructed into the China Criminal Police College,
while retaning the name of People¨s Police Cadres School of Public
Security Ministry. In the next autumn, it began to enroll undergraduates.
9.On June 20th, 1992, under the decision made
at the Public Security Minister¨s meeting for handling official
business, the Police Canine Technology School of Public Security
Ministry was incorporated into China Criminal Police College with
the name changed into Police Canine Technology School Attached to
China Criminal Police College. In February of 1999, the Public Security
Ministry decided to take back the school, but CCPC was still responsible
for the teaching affairs.
10.On November 16 th , 1996, entrusted by the
China Criminal Science & Technology Association, CCPC established
National Questioned Document Committee attached to the college,
with professor Jia Yuwen as the director of the committee, which
owned 70 appointed members and 60 honorary members.
11.In June of 1997, CCPC passed the evaluation
of the qualification for undertaking undergraduate education by
the State Educational Committee.
12.In 1998, approved by Academic Degree Office
of State Council, the college was qualified to grant master¨s degree,
which marked a new period of the education in CCPC.
13.From 2002 to 2003, approved by the National
Education Ministry, our college offered the following undergraduate
majors, information security, economic crime investigation, anti-narcotics,
police canine technology. So far, with 7 undergraduate majors, 17
specialized directions, our college begins to do course research
on much more wider fields.
